Blogomania

Mark the calendar. December 26, 2005: the day that Julia Greer succumbed to blogomania.

I resisted. I really did. I hate jumping onto trendy bandwagons, particularly the ones that *I* should have helped to pioneer. Case in point: The great Titanic obsession of -- when? -- 1998 or so. I refused to see the epic motion picture for months, over a year in fact, even though I had been obsessed with the Titanic as a teenager -- had read every book, article, dissertation I could get my hands on. Then suddenly the rest of the world thinks THEY are obsessed with the Titanic? Bah.

Of course, I did finally end up seeing the film. Just as, ultimately, here I am in Blogland. Blogging.
